This resulted in redundant manual data entry and inefficiencies. Proven Ventures stepped in and connected John with Devon Seacrest, CEO of CodeBuddy. Devon's team developed a custom CodeKit that seamlessly integrated these platforms, allowing data to flow effortlessly between RentMy, Monday.com, and Google Calendar. This integration has significantly reduced manual work, enabling John to focus more on customer engagement and business growth. August was about launching our MVP. September has been about refining our ICP and Business Model. Sometimes, as an entrepreneur, you need to to take a step back, stop building and listen. Focus on solving the right problems for the right set of people. That's exactly what we've been doing - speaking to industry leaders and refining the product vision. Our thesis is simple. Software buyers just do not have the time anymore to get key information from every vendor that reaches out. There's too many tools, too many technologies, just too much outreach. But software buying is complex, AI can't just automate it all away. Vendor research is always going to be important. Tools affect multiple stakeholders so buying committees are important. WarmCall helps software buyers collect vendor information with AI buyers that listen and respond to sales pitches on their behalf. We're seeing good, positive signs from the market that this would help both parties. Now, we need to go out and prove it. Excited to work with our early design partners and define the future of what the software buying process looks like. PSA: Another spiff isn't the only lever you have to close your revenue gap (& neither is your marketing team running another promotion 😬) If I may suggest a more strategic approach... have your revops team run an analysis, identify the root causes of your problems, surface key areas for opportunity, *take action on those insights*, and measure the results. But.. this isn't done in a day. Sometimes you don't have the luxury of time so you rely on short cuts to close the gap. I get it. But if you're running into this situation every quarter...
