when girls emulate others to become, mothers sisters wife friend grand mother teachers nurture humane issues with almost all, have you ever thought that those jobs that were thought to be menial ,carried out by men alone and accepted by society with a deep driven belief that this is done only by men could be #replaced by women of our society for the society ,when these women are already doing almost many things at home to their men folks relations at home. You see women are nurses in hospitals and they may look nicely dressed up and kind and pleading etc etc, but the work they endure that I saw when my old father was hospitalised is something no one will wish them to do from all works that even one's own son would resist in doung . like cleaning up the body, diapering the suffering people ,taking care of people with great care. when the whole society is full of women contributing towards societal living in every aspect from, looking after cattle, teaching, nursing, defence, research, food production, why then we look down on a job such as a #barbar as menial where the people pay just little? In the so-called high society the very same ladies who work in hair salons earn millions. Is it the earning factor that makes a job menial or high flown? we all should understand that every person cannot be rich and every person cannot be poor too There are continuous efforts by each to bridge the gap to earn for living. This is an ongoing process where jobs get transformed, jobs get written off, new jobs are created in a new economy. Yet one can't cut his or her own hair ! This is an irreplaceable job by default. I appreciate this lady's will to do it in respecting this job as a job of respect that her father left it for her to at least live by doing it . Let's encourage women and men to respect any job that befits them to do so #Note : In any case we should totally eradicate manual scavenging .
