Exciting to see how lung ultrasounds in prehospital settings are transforming emergency care by enabling quicker, more accurate diagnoses—paving the way for AI-driven advancements in critical patient management. 🚀 #ultrasound #remotehealthcare #AI
Using Butterfly's lung application, heart failure patients can be diagnosed on the way to the hospital, so they can get immediate life saving care when they arrive. No need to wait hours for institutional ultrasound. 94 patients studied; they received care 148 minutes earlier. I've been there. It matters. "In the 94 patients with AHF, 14% (11/77) received HF therapy prehospital without the use of LUS and 53% (9/17) with the use of LUS. LUS improved frequency of treatment by 39%. Median time to treatment was 21 min with LUS and 169 min without.” #butterflynetwork
