Q: What should I look for when deciding to join an insurance agency as a new producer? A: It depends. Seriously, it depends on you. What you need, what's most important to you, what kind of firm you will fit in and belong; what kind of training, management and support do you need, etc. I suggest you list your success criteria and then rank order by importance. Then determine WHERE you want to live and work and identify every independent agent/broker in your local market.
