Tilting solar panels towards the sun if a rooftop is particularly flat (or the fall of the roof is towards the south) will improve solar energy generation from your solar panels while at the same time reducing losses to generation caused by the buildup of dirt and grime. If a solar panel is on a roof that is completely flat, dirt and dust can rest on the solar panel thereby reducing the ability of sunlight to reach the silicon underneath. We are lucky along the east coast that we generally have a high rainfall, so this can help with keeping the panels clean, but there are always some tricks or best practices to follow. hashtag #solarpower #electricity #bestpractice #ROI #energy #renewable
