We’re excited to share progress on one of our most ambitious projects to date—Davenport and Alexandria. 🏗️ These two interconnected retirement buildings are now equipped with the largest number of hollow metal entrances we’ve ever installed on a single project! 🚪 From hollow metal frames and doors to hardware, Record automatic operators, and installing Rhino Finishing’s beautiful custom maple veneer wood doors 🪵✨, this milestone truly showcases our expertise. 💪 But before we celebrate, it’s important to reflect on the journey. 🌟 The project faced a rough start when we made the mistake of prematurely promoting a former technician to a junior foreman role. Unfortunately, this decision led to the botched execution of the first phase of the project and a series of challenges, including the theft of many tools 🛠️ on-site by this individual after leaving the company. These setbacks pushed us further than any previous obstacle, and it could have jeopardized our relationship with a valued partner. However, we were fortunate to have incredible strategic partners in our corner. 🤝 The unwavering trust, patience, and support from our partners at Rhino Finishing Materials Inc. 🦏 allowed us to stay focused on the bigger picture. With their continued belief in our team, we were able to recover quickly. 🚀 We immediately brought in our A-team to restore order and get the project back on track. 🛠️💼 Today, we’re proud to announce that Davenport is 100% complete ✅, and we’re moving forward smoothly with Alexandria. What started as a difficult situation has now become one of our best-run projects. 🏆 This experience has reinforced the power of strong partnerships 💪 and committed employees 🧑🤝🧑, as well as the importance of resilience. When challenges arise, it’s not about avoiding them—it’s about how you respond, learn, and grow. 📈 We’re grateful for the trust of our partners and the incredible efforts of our team. Together, we prove that setbacks are simply opportunities for comebacks. 🔄 Excited to break ground on the third building once this one wraps up! 🚧✨ #Resilience #Partnerships #Teamwork #LearningFromChallenges #ComebackStronger #DontDoubtUs #WereNotGoingAnywhere #WinningTeam #HollowMetalDoors #DoorHardware #RhinoFinishingMaterials #LimitlessDoors

One day as I was walking around my home 🏡town, I saw a group of men tearing a building down. With a “heave” and a “ho” and a mighty yell, they swung a huge steel ball and a tall building fell🧱 I then questioned the foreman, "Are your men competent? If you were going to build, are these the people you would hire? He chuckled, saying, "Oh no, indeed! All I need are unskilled workers.”👨🏭 📍"What it takes skilled builders years to do, these men can easily wreck in a day or two." And as I turned to leave, I thought to myself, Which of these parts do I want to play?🤔 👉🏻Do I want to spend my life spreading negativity and be recognized as someone who always brings people down? 👉🏻Or do I want to have a reputation for carefully and skillfully building things, so that my colleagues will constantly be appreciative of my presence? Using a constructive plan with great care and doing my very best to implement it. Or am I simply going around tearing things down like a wrecker? Leave your thoughts…! Why Small Details Matter on a Job Site! 🔍 Walking through your job site? Pay attention to small details like this one! Here, the insulation team sealed the windows but left the protective tape on, which could damage the seal when removed later. It’s the builder’s job to prep for the next crew, like the finishing carpenters, so they can work efficiently. Small details can make a big difference! #ConstructionTips #JobSite #AttentionToDetail Want to learn more cool home tricks? Visit PREAskool.com. It's free! There are a lot of jobs that make our everyday lives possible, not just easy. We laud the catches, the sixes and the clean bowled wickets. We often forget about the reporters and the cameramen. The engineers who invented real-time predictive paths for each ball bowled and those who created the networks for live streaming across platforms. From the stadium to its lighting, civil engineers and masonry workers. But why limit ourselves to cricket? Delivery people, truck drivers who got the products there, construction agents who built the house, network service providers who help us do our jobs and keep us entertained, plumbers who let us have water to cook and clean, our CAs and our recruiters... The list of people we rely on to even live and have basic modern necessities fulfilled is too big. We often forget them. We often forget ourselves and our contributions. Clap for yourself for every metaphorical six you hit in life. For every job well done. You'll have superiors to criticize your mistakes to balance it off anyway. Everyone does.
