Here's the plan: Your priorities are my priorities, and I will work day in, day out to make progress on these pledges for Torbay. 1) INCREASING OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE - there are insufficient opportunities for young people, in terms of business, careers, education, change making and more. I will work hard to change this. 2) MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT - One of the biggest concerns amongst young people. I will traverse this difficult issue carefully, working to increase capacity of mental health support in schools and beyond. 3) COMMUNITY - Communal events need to happen more. #britaingettalking 4) SAFER STREETS - Many people across Torbay don't feel as safe as they have done previously. I will work with local organisations and Devon and Cornwall Police to positively alter this. 5) TORBAY BACK ON THE MAP - I want Torbay to be famous for it's youth led initiatives, the home of tourism, opportunity and creativity.
