✨ Be your own best friend today. ✨ In a world full of comparison and expectation, the most powerful thing you can do is show up for yourself with kindness. 🧡Today, choose self-love over self-criticism. Treat yourself with the same care, patience, and understanding that you would offer a friend in need. 💫 It’s okay to not have it all figured out. It’s okay to make mistakes. But it’s also okay to embrace your progress, however small. You are worthy of your own compassion. So take a deep breath, give yourself grace, and remember: You’re doing better than you think. 🌿 🌻 #BeKindToYourself #SelfLove #BeYourOwnBestFriend #SelfCompassion #YouAreEnough #MentalHealthMatters✨

FEAR IS NATURAL BUT COMPASSION IS POWERFUL! When fear shows up, it’s easy to criticize ourselves for feeling "weak" or "stuck." But fear is not failure - it’s a natural, human response. Imagine a close friend feeling the same way. Would you judge them? Or would you offer words of kindness, patience, and encouragement? Now, offer yourself that same compassion. Treat yourself as you would a friend: ❤️ Remind yourself it's okay to feel fear. ❤️ Acknowledge the courage it takes to face it. ❤️ Allow yourself to move forward, one step at a time. You don’t need to be fearless. You only need to be kind - to yourself. WHAT'S ONE WAY YOU'VE SHOWN YOURSELF COMPASSION RECENTLY? I’d love to hear. #iamhuman #itsoktobeafraid #icare #luxinorcoachingandtraining

When will you forgive and free yourself from the past? We all make mistakes, do things against our better judgment, hurt people, and berate ourselves. We hear that voice from the past say, "What I did was unforgivable!" To that, I say NO! It’s time to throw the expectation of being perfect out of the window. Cut yourself some slack...you're human. Make apologies to those you've hurt, and continue to silence that voice that says you can't be free of guilt and shame. Forgiveness is a lifestyle...not an event. It's an ongoing part of loving ourselves and being free to love others authentically. You may need to forgive yourself multiple times. Why? There are always more and deeper lessons to learn. Be thankful for those. With each act of self-forgiveness, self-love grows. Give yourself the gift of forgiveness, set up a free session with me, and let's talk. Remember...you have wings to F.L.Y.💙 First love yourself. #createyourlife #putyourselffirst #reinventioncoaching #lifecoachingtips #michaelmamminacoaching

A wee #SelfWorthSaturday reminder that self-love is so much more than some touchy feely concept that we must all embrace. It's self-preservation in action! It's a set of behaviours that play an essential role in recovery, rediscovery and healing. Self-love is about having our own back. It's about being in our own corner. It's about encouragement not criticism. It's about taking care of our needs and wants. It's about being our own best friend. Self-love can include... 🙅♀️ Setting and maintaining boundaries. 🙏 Forgiving yourself. 💜 Turning your kindness & compassion inwards. 🙋♂️ Prioritising your needs and wants. 💜 Trusting and believing in yourself. 🙅 Not settling for less than you deserve 🙂 Making time for activities that bring you joy. 😴 Making time to rest and refuel Does your love include you? 🤔💜🙋♂️ #YouMatterAlways #youareimportantandyoumatter #yourthoughtsmatter #yourfeelingsmatter #yourvoicematters #yourstorymatters #yourlifematters #always #AllThatYouAre #whoyouarematters #selflovematters

Hello friends. It is not selfish to put yourself first. I’ve learned a lot lately, mostly in ways I never asked for. When life hands you deep loss and surrounds you with voices that drain rather than uplift, there’s a moment—maybe just a quiet breath—when you have to decide how you’re going to show up for yourself. For me, it meant leaning into something softer and stronger inside, even when everything outside felt heavy and cruel. I started talking to myself the way I’d talk to a friend: more patience, more understanding, more care. It hasn’t been easy. Some days are still rough. But I’ve found that honest kindness—especially toward myself—can turn some of that heaviness into something meaningful. You can still be real about the pain without letting it define you. I’m choosing to keep my head and heart open, to share thoughts that encourage rather than tear down, and to stand steady in my own worth. If you’re going through something similar: don’t let anyone else’s negativity convince you that you’re not growing, healing, or worthy. Dig deep. Find that inner voice that loves you, that roots for you, that believes in what you’re capable of. Hold onto it. It’s there—even on the tough days—and it’s the best kind of ally you’ll ever have. As always, thank you for being you. You’re perfect! #empathy #resilience #mentalhealth

What does "give yourself grace" really mean? To give yourself grace is really about having self-compassion. It is about forgiving yourself and releasing judgment on yourself. This world is hard and there are a lot of reasons (that are not your fault) why you may not be able to do something a certain way or show up how you want to in life. It's about recognizing you're doing your very best with the knowledge and resources you have and that is enough. Feeling like you can't do things "the right way"? Give yourself grace. Disappointed with the way you look or how much you are struggling? Give yourself grace. Now this can still be easier said than done so we will talk more about self-compassion in future posts and how to start giving yourself this forgiveness and grace with practical steps which is so important for emotional healing. Where in your life can you "give yourself more grace?" Where do you need to release some self-judgment? #traumahealing #mentalhealthawareness #holistictherapy #anxietysupport
