Today is International Men’s Day! Yes, it’s real, and it’s worth celebrating. You might not receive a lot of wishes, but that’s okay—our contributions can’t be confined to a single day. Men are the builders, protectors, and providers of society. We work in challenging environments—on rigs, in mines, in construction—laying the foundation for progress. We’re firefighters, defenders, and creators, contributing our strength and skills to make the world a better place. In fact, men account for 96% of workplace casualties, 99% of casualties in defense services, and 99% in firefighting, demonstrating our commitment to protecting and serving. Despite these statistics, men often don’t prioritize their health. Men’s health matters. Prostate cancer research and awareness need more attention, and it’s essential for men to support one another in fostering healthier lifestyles. As modern men navigate life’s complexities, we must focus on creating environments of peace, love, and compassion—not just for our families and communities, but also for ourselves. Statistically, men are contributing more positive impacts than negative ones in society. Whether it’s leading as mentors, nurturing as fathers, or inspiring as innovators, our roles leave an enduring legacy. Let’s recognize these efforts and take a moment to appreciate the men who quietly and persistently drive progress. To every man out there: prioritize your health, support one another, and continue striving to create a better future for all. Together, we can build a world of respect, dignity, and compassion. Happy International Men’s Day! 🌍💪 #InternationalMensDay #MensHealth #PositiveImpact #Leadership

🌍 Happy International Men's Day 2024! 🌟 Today, we celebrate the incredible men and honour this year's theme: "Men's Health Champions." Let’s take a moment to reflect on the collective mission to improve the health and well-being of men and boys across our communities. Did you know that a staggering 50 Australian men die every day from preventable causes before reaching 75? Despite being one of the healthiest countries in the world, Australian men live an average of 7 years shorter than women. This serves as a wake-up call for all of us to take action and advocate for better health support! 💪 Look Out for Your Mates! Men’s health is a shared responsibility. Let’s create a culture where checking in on each other is the norm. Start a conversation today with a friend, a brother, or a colleague. A simple conversation can make a world of difference! 🏥 Take Action, Stay Healthy! Engage in activities that promote health and wellness. Join a sports club, take your kids to play at the park, or enjoy a walk on the beach. Even walking meetings at work can make an impact. Be a role model for our youth and show them what healthy, active lifestyles look like. 🌱 Building Healthy Communities is about celebrating the champions in our midst—healthcare workers, community leaders, and everyday heroes making a difference! 🌟 Creating a Healthier Future! This is an all-in effort. It’s an opportunity for leaders from all walks of life—in government, business, or sports—to unite and address the broader social issues that impact men’s health. Let’s champion the cause of men’s health together. Here’s to the remarkable men who inspire us to a healthier future for all! 💙 Reach out to the champions in your life and let them know how much they are appreciated. #InternationalMensDay #MensHealthChampions #LookOutForYourMates #BuildingHealthyCommunities #TakeActionStayHealthy #CreatingAHealthierFuture

Last week, we proudly co-hosted the Asia Region Anti-Trafficking Conference in Bali, Indonesia, bringing together anti-trafficking professionals from across the region to discuss the latest developments and insights in the field. Alongside our partners at Chab Dai, Dark Bali, The Whispering Willow, and Ashray, our goal was to develop multi-sector learning and partnerships to improve responses human trafficking and slavery in Asia, provide updates on trends in the past 3-5 years, to learn best practices from each other, and identify potential avenues for collaborative action. This conference is always an exciting event, a great chance to reconnect, to learn from each others’ experiences and remember how many of us are working together to end trafficking! As our CEO, Lucy McCray shares, “ARAT is such a unique, fun and safe space to help co-curate. Every year, seeing partners, friends and fellow anti-trafficking organizations is such a gift. Taking the time to share and learn from one another so that we can better fight this issue means we are better equipped and more coordinated. I am thankful for the opportunity to help co-curate the space and for all those who came to the conference, contributed their time and knowledge, and helped support it!” The ARAT Conference is the only one of its type in Asia and we emphasize bringing in survivor leaders to share their expertise. Over 500 participants attended in person and online, providing each other with encouragement and motivation. Topics covered in the conference include, among many others: the intersection between disability and trafficking, the use of technology to create systemic solutions, creating survivor leadership and survivor-led solutions, the role of climate change, interfaith efforts, and responsible business practices. We are thrilled and honored to take part in this opportunity to provide a platform for people to gather to share their ideas and experiences. Many of the core themes that these conferences share build on previous learning, as implementing effective polices on the ground requires engagement with lived experience. There can often be a sizable gap between policy and practice, between idea and implementation, because the reality on the ground can be so much more nuanced and complex than people outside it can anticipate. Sharing these valuable experiences is key to more effective responses. Coalition building and collaboration efforts are also essential. We’re stronger when we work together, and as a network, we can facilitate information flow. It becomes possible to identify gaps and collectively organize resources to address gaps – including preventing burnout, as the people working most closely with victims and survivors are among our most valued resources. This part of the work doesn’t always catch the attention of the media or others, but it’s a critical part of truly effective work and progress!

Every year on August 13th, left-handers around the world come together to celebrate International Left-Handers Day. This day is dedicated to recognizing the uniqueness and struggles of being left-handed in a predominantly right-handed world. Left-handers make up approximately 10% of the population, yet the world is designed for right-handed people. From scissors to desks to computer mice, left-handers often have to adapt to using tools and objects that are not designed for their dominant hand. This can lead to feelings of frustration and a sense of being left out or different. Despite these challenges, being left-handed has its advantages. Studies have shown that left-handed individuals are more likely to excel in creative fields such as art, music, and design. They are also thought to be more adept at problem-solving and have a higher likelihood of being ambidextrous. International Left-Handers Day is a time to celebrate the unique abilities and perspectives that left-handers bring to the table. It is a day to raise awareness about the struggles that left-handed individuals face and to promote inclusivity and understanding in a world that often favors right-handedness. So, on August 13th, take a moment to appreciate the left-handers in your life. Maybe buy them a left-handed tool or gadget to make their lives a little easier. Or simply take the time to acknowledge and validate their experiences. After all, being left-handed is not a choice, but a beautiful and natural part of who they are. Happy Left-Handers Day!

I love joining conversations that bring us closer to living our Purpose of realizing the extraordinary power of everyday care. The main question is how we practice everyday care and understand the role of self-care in people’s lives and the health systems of our region. Last week, while attending a panel discussion about the role of self-care in improving and supporting the sustainability of health systems organized by Americas Society/Council of the Americas, it was clear how self-care is essential not only for personal health but also for productivity and societal well-being. Did you know that in countries like Brazil, self-care can increase productivity by more than 4 days a year? This includes making rational use of health products and services, engaging in physical activity, eating healthily, and maintaining good hygiene. During the panel, Deputada Fedral Flavia Morais, Federal Deputy, Chamber of Deputies of Brazil, stated that "Society must understand that quality of life also depends on individual actions and habits. Therefore, promoting self-care is a duty of public authorities." Reflecting on these ideas during #InternationalSelfCareMonth, it's clear that our mission at Kenvue is more relevant than ever: promoting an approach to daily care that improves health and enriches people's everyday lives by always putting them first. 💪🏼 And even better when we do all of that with the ones we love...in the picture getting ready for one more race with my daughter Giovana Lukower #WeAreKenvue
