#HM24 recap Now that we’re safely back at the office, it’s time to look back at a busy but rewarding week at HANNOVER MESSE 2024. We’ve already mentioned quite a few experiences in our daily posts but this is what stood out most to us 👇 ▶ It’s safe to say that Hannover Messe is still thé place to be for the European industrial sector with over 4000 companies exhibiting. However, it’s far from limited to Europe as there’s a growing number of international exhibitors and visitors at the fair. ▶ As we expected, #AI was an even bigger focus than it was last year. But making sure there’s high-quality and structured process data to feed it is just as important ▶ Iron sharpens iron. Being a co-exhibitor this year, we had a lot of interesting conversations with great people from up-and-coming and scaling companies at the Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) pavilion ▶ Big thanks to the people who brought it all together this year Ka Yee Man, Stephanie Verhue, Olivier Van Orshoven and Dirk Smolders to name a few 🤝

Since joining Messe Stuttgart in 2007, I've had the privilege of helping to shape VISION. What I particularly enjoy is organising this leading event on our exhibition grounds with an innovative, highly international, and at the same time very connected industry. 🟡 What hobbies help you to relax after a long day at work? Physical activity is my way of recharging. Over the last few years, I have regularly ridden my e-bike to the trade fair for two hours a day. This year, I set myself a new challenge and started running regularly again. Currently, I'm training for a marathon after a few years' break. This marathon will take place right after this year's VISION on Sunday. 🟡 What are your expectations for VISION 2024? The outlook for VISION 2024 is excellent: We already have 15 percent more exhibiting companies and occupied space, 66 percent of them coming from abroad, and a quarter of the companies are first-time exhibitors.
