[WHAT I LEARNED AT PT PARAGON TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION] I have gained an incredibly valuable experience at PT Paragon Technology and Innovation during my five-month tenure as an Assistant Demand Creation Intern. I have learned a great deal here, primarily understanding that building brand awareness can be achieved through executing events and fostering good relationships with stakeholders. Among other things, I have learned: 1. Event Management I have a strong passion for the world of events, from planning and execution to evaluation. Here, I organize events weekly for five brands at PT Paragon DC Palembang, which challenges me to manage time efficiently for smooth execution. While I used to plan events over two to four months previously, here I've been trained to plan events within two to three weeks, a beneficial challenge that has honed my time management skills. 2. Negotiation and Dealing Executing events involves working with vendors and selecting venues, tasks for which I often negotiate with vendors and determine suitable venues within budget constraints. This involves negotiating with photographers, photobooth and camera 360 vendors, as well as choosing hotels, cafes, or other venues required for events. 3. Building Good Relationships with Communities, KOLs, MUAs, Local Government From engaging with the running community named Musi Runner, to briefing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for each brand, maintaining good communication with Makeup Artists (MUAs) at every event, collaborating with vendors to support event execution, and partnering with local government and media, I have unexpectedly built strong relationships within just five months. I've learned that adaptability is crucial in today's work environment, where collaboration is highly valued. 4. Design and Editing I have also engaged in diverse design planning tasks, including flyers, vouchers, Instagram feeds, videotron frames, and video editing using copywriting techniques. Initially unfamiliar with these skills, daily practice has enabled me to fully understand color coordination and contrast. 5. Soft Skills and Hard Skills PT Paragon provides training classes to develop interns' soft and hard skills. This includes building personal branding skills, learning about PT Paragon's divisions and workflow, managing time effectively, executing projects, and completing assigned tasks to enhance both skill sets.
