𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬!! Here’s the reality. Fireworks were an important part of royal celebrations in medieval India but were not accessible to common people. With the setting up of a factory in Sivakasi by the Nadar brothers, fireworks became commonplace. Tradition is fundamentally man-made, reflecting the values and lifestyles of specific times and cultures. But tradition also has evolved and adapted with changes in the society. In many cases, tradition has been bastardized to suit people’s convenience. E.g., wedding ceremonies. The population of domestic animals has risen considerably (note: petcare industry boom) and therefore, it’s time to change and consider celebrating without the crackers. So, let the raging debates take place on the yays and nays of cracker bursting. On our part, let’s adapt and adjust and consider those mute souls who don’t have a say in the matter and simply suffer the noise and pollution with some slipping into trauma. If you still insist on getting hot under the collar defending your obscene spend on crackers, Well.... I don't want to be dragged down to your level in an argument with you beating me with your experience. Happy Diwali to you!! Animal Rights Fund p.s: Can Zepto Amazon Blinkit and other delivery platforms take a stand and refuse to deliver crackers? #compassion #lookingbeyondbusiness #egodivorce

Why they do not adopt stray animals, approximately 6.2 crore stray /streets dogs and 91 lakh street cats in India ? No concern for them - Worried about only their pets and that ,too ,on Diwali, only . Moreover, what about the countries and some communities that eat dogs .👇 Some countries where people eat dogs and cats include: China This country is believed to be responsible for the majority of global cases of cat and dog slaughter. It's legal to sell and eat dog meat in China, and the tradition of eating dogs dates back thousands of years. South Korea Dog meat was once popular in South Korea, but younger generations prefer to keep dogs as pets. Cambodia An estimated two to three million dogs are slaughtered annually in Cambodia for their meat. Indonesia Less than seven percent of Indonesians eat dog and cat meat, but around one million dogs and hundreds of thousands of cats are killed for the meat trade every year. Other countries where people eat dogs and cats include: The Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and The region of Nagaland in India. More dogs & cats eating nations _Comment Section 👇

As we embrace the festive spirit of Navratri and Durga Puja, let's pause to reflect on the often-overlooked heroes who make our celebrations possible. While many of us enjoy time off, countless individuals continue to work tirelessly: • The puchkawala satisfying our street food cravings • Restaurant staff ensuring our festive meals are perfect • Police officers keeping our communities safe • Food delivery personnel bringing joyous tastes to our doorsteps Their sacrifices are the silent partners to our joy. So, this Navratri, let's go beyond mere money transactions: 1. Offer a genuine smile and a heartfelt "thank you" to those serving you. 2. Acknowledge the extra hours and missed family time of service workers. 3. Consider tipping generously when possible, recognizing their holiday sacrifice. 4. Share a kind word or small gesture of appreciation with essential workers in your community. Remember: True celebration embraces all. By extending our gratitude and compassion, we not only uplift others but enrich our own festive experience. This Navratri, let's create a ripple effect of gratitude and compassion making ourselves better Human Beings and also creating a Better World to live in. Plz feel free to share your thoughts... 😊 #Navratri2024 #DurgaPuja #Gratitude #CommunitySpirit #WorkplaceCulture #InclusiveCelebrations

Happy #Diwali to all our friends who celebrate! If you plan to use #Candles or #Diyas to observe the holiday, please do it safely. Current weather conditions make outdoor candle use dangerous, so flameless options will be much safer. When using candles indoors, place them on a sturdy candleholder or saucer. Keep anything that can burn at least one foot away. And always extinguish them before you leave the room or go to sleep! Learn more about candle safety: https://ow.ly/WU3950Q5CbN

We talk about Diwali, Festival Lights and how India and France are culturally similar, well, #Nature unites us all, and the principles to tackle natural phenomenon is pretty much similar all over the world... It's absolutely fascinating, the grit, the hardwork, the effort that goes into #Viticulture is mesmerizing !
