TIME Europe International Travel Service GmbH’s Post

Exhibitoronline has published their vision for the development of the exhibition industry in 2024. Sharing a summary of the first part of the publication.👇 The authors highlight two main components of the upcoming technological revolution: virtual reality (VR/AR) and artificial intelligence (AI), including digital methods of measuring participants' engagement and interaction based on it. 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐕𝐑/𝐀𝐑 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 As an example of VR/AR usage, the authors cite car manufacturers: they can demonstrate new models in a virtual showroom, where clients with special headsets are transported to a 4D space and interactively "customise" the car for themselves, changing colours, accessories, etc. in real time. 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐈 Artificial intelligence can personalise the VR/AR experience for individual visitors, adapting virtual stands, product demonstrations, and interactive sessions to their interests and personal experience. 𝐀𝐈 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 Real-time translation services can ensure free interaction between multilingual participants. Robot assistants can not only provide standard information but also answer questions and guide participants throughout the event. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 By analysing visitor data, artificial intelligence can predict and recommend sessions, stands, and events that match individual preferences, creating a personalized event itinerary for each visitor. This will undoubtedly increase engagement and satisfaction. 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 Facial recognition technology should play a role in optimising venue entry processes and improving security. 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 AI algorithms could analyse participant profiles to suggest and facilitate meaningful connections, bringing together people with similar interests or professional goals. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 Interactive exhibits will be able to interact with visitors in real time, adapting to their reactions and interests, providing a more vivid and engaging experience than traditional static exhibits.
