Recruiters, quick poll! 👋 When you reach out to candidates, do you use their work email? 💻✉️ Some see it as an effective way to connect with passive talent, while others feel it crosses professional boundaries. I’m curious—what’s your take? What’s your preferred approach? 🔹 Stick to personal emails/social channels 🔹 Use work emails if needed 🔹 A mix of both, depending on the situation Vote and share your thoughts in the comments! Let’s discuss how we can keep recruiting both professionals and humans. 😊 #Recruitment #CandidateExperience #TalentAcquisition #BestPractices
Good one, I steer clear of work emails, don't want to be that guy sliding in someone's work inbox just at the moment that the person is sitting behind their screen with a co-worker looking at some excel sheet or something and the notification comes in.
When I reach out to candidates, I strictly use LinkedIn and, in rare cases, private emails—but I never use their work emails. I believe contacting someone at their workplace can cross professional boundaries and feel intrusive. LinkedIn is designed for professional networking, making it the perfect platform to connect with talent without disrupting their current work environment. Even though LinkedIn doesn’t always provide private email access, it’s still an ideal place to foster meaningful professional connections. Those who choose not to share their private email might be using LinkedIn for networking, not job searching, and that’s something I always respect.
Always social channels and personal emails. No work emails, as i don't want to cross professional boundaries and loose potential candidate.
social channels usually - places where they expected to be contacted on
Personal emails/ social channels.. Safe bet
A Mix of both
