Why are investigative application modes important to firefighters? Many firefighters fail to recognize gray/white areas that are super-heated. And, in many cases it can be difficult to distinguish between a small heat source in gray scale vs more significant heat source. With a feature such as survey mode from Seek Thermal, a firefighter can quickly identify areas that need to be cooled, location of the fire, severity of the fire, and more! Check out the video as we switch from TI Basic to Survey Mode. TI Basic begins to colorize superheated areas at 302 F or 150 C whereas Survey Mode colorizes superheated areas beginning at 150 F or 65 C. Which one is easier for a firefighter to identify when seconds count? Stay Intelligently Aggressive! #firefighter #thermalimaging #thermography #firefighting

#firefighter #firefightingskill #techniques #skill that are used here in this video is very good to understand. follow on youtube for more such contents: https://lnkd.in/dED5JxXm In the provided situation there are chances of #BLEVE. but this can be controlled by cooling down the vessel temperature. so providing direct flow on the vessel will help to cool down the vessel. mean while creating umbrella curtain will help to go near by the target tank by keeping cool down firefighters. and in the end after attending valve and again cooling to the vessel it will help to cool down vessel again. Remember water will not extinguish this kind of hydrocarbon fire. it will only help to keep cool down the higher temperatures.

I recently came across a thought-provoking video demonstrating how an arc flash can occur. The video showed the electrical arc and its effects, highlighting the potential risks and hazards. Arc flashes can occur due to: • Faulty electrical equipment or wiring • Improperly installed or maintained electrical systems • Human error or negligence To mitigate these risks, its crucial to follow NFPA 70E guidelines and take these safety precautions: • Conduct regular electrical system maintenance and inspections • Ensure proper lockout/tagout procedures • Wear appropriate PPE and arc-rated clothing • Follow established safety protocols and procedures • Provide regular training and awareness programs for employees Let's prioritize electrical safety and take proactive steps to prevent arc flash hazards! #ShanFoods #SafetyHarWaqt #ArcFlash #ElectricalSafety #NFPA70E #HSE #FMCG #SafetyFirst #WorkplaceSafety #hseprofessionals

Conducting a Size-Up? Consider adding thermal data to your size-up efforts! Notice the amount of heat visible in areas adjacent to the fire and how we can use this data to predict fire spread, indicate overall fire severity, and potentially see areas that are in danger of rapid fire growth or spread that we were unaware of. Special thanks to Max Fire Training for sharing this video with the Seek Attack PRO. #firefighter #thermalimaging #thermography #firefighting

🔥 IFFS is a revolutionary fire-fighting system that uses water as its primary extinguishing agent. 💪🏻 Unlike traditional fire extinguishers, IFFS employs a special nozzle that converts water into a high-velocity jet stream. This jet stream strikes the fire with tremendous force, creating a "shock wave" that instantly extinguishes the flames. 👨🏽🚒IFFS technology is particularly effective in fighting class A and B fires, such as wood, paper, and flammable liquids. It also has the advantage of using less water than traditional firefighting methods, which can result in less water damage to property. ⚡️Overall, IFFS is a cutting-edge fire-fighting technology that has the potential to save lives and property in a wide range of emergency situations. #fire #firefighter #firefighting #ifexusa #fireforce #firetechnology #iffs #iffsusa

Searching for victims? “It is paramount to determine the scientific based elements of size-up, search, and rescue that the fire service can use to best understand the fire dynamics to make critical tactical choices such as initial hoseline placement, search pathways, and occupant removal considerations.” Analysis of Search and Rescue Tactics in Single-Story Single-Family Homes Part I: Bedroom Fires Firefighters who implement Tactical Thermal Imaging to their search methodology can define the pathways, areas for search, and monitor thermal conditions allowing for faster victim location and defining safer paths for removal away from dangerous thermal conditions. As shown in the following video from the Seek Thermal Attack PRO VRS. Firefighters can note thermally sever conditions that are upstairs and prioritize victim removal via windows instead the stairs. Fire detection systems on ships are crucial for ensuring the safety of crew and cargo. Three main types of fire detectors commonly found onboard include heat detectors, smoke detectors, and flame detectors. Heat detectors activate when a certain temperature threshold is reached, alerting crew to potential fires. Smoke detectors sense the presence of smoke particles, providing early warning of smoldering fires. Flame detectors, on the other hand, detect the presence of flames, quickly alerting crew to open fires. Together, these detectors form a comprehensive system to detect and respond to fires promptly, helping to prevent disasters at sea. #MarineSafety #FireDetection #ShipSafety #MaritimeTechnology #SafetyAtSea #FirePrevention #MarineEngineering #ShipSystems #EmergencyResponse #SafetyFirst
