It was great to be able to demonstrate some new air tools at our latest demo with CG Equipment. In this video you can see the Turbo Terra Air and the Turbo Spade at work, loosening up compacted soil to make it easier for the #tinbintc2 to suck up material. The Turbo Terra Air is like an air fracker - it breaks up heavy and compacted soil by injecting air into it. You can see how it lifts the soil underneath the operator. In continuation of the previous post, see air entrainment contours for the D-type PKW (P=0.2 m; H/P=0.2). It can be seen that nappes interact between opposing nappes on the sloping ramp of outlet keys with lateral jets overcrossing the side walls. This interaction leads to notable mixing and turbulence, generating highly aerated rotating jets that exit from each outlet key in a downstream direction. Nappe interactions contribute to energy dissipation. Also, the nappes passing over the crest and the end portion of the inlet key and falling in front of the weir's base (impact point), with splash and spray regions, create an aeration area by interacting with the jets coming out of the outlet keys. We have those at work. Time to understand how to read them (picture guide attached). Also, know the purpose - it is a quick reference of direction and a wind speed. FYI, most pilots will cancel take off with wind speed @ 15 knots. Lifting a vessel outside or a piece of large steel plate @ 15 knots wind might not be a good idea either.

How can achieve the first condition? 1. Choose the correct airfoil. The airfoil must be a type of low-speed airfoil, symmetry can't be used. 2. When the low-speed airfoil is chosen, the concave direction facing of the blade is important. 3. The initial blade angle is important 4. The ratio is very important between the blade width and the diameter of the windmill. Even a little narrow or wide will reduce the efficiency much more. 5. The blade quantity. Five is the best. If the blade quantity is reduced, the power will be reduced in the same other conditions. However, most people don't truly understand the five points above.
