Word Of The Week - Tentative Tentative is used to describe when someone or something is unsure or uncertain; not definite or fully worked out yet. Synonyms: unsettled, indefinite, not final, provisional, speculative, hesitant, trial or test. Example sentence: The boy had a tentative smile on his face.   Extensive vocabulary knowledge is useful for children in their general education and 11-plus journey. Ask your child to remember the meaning of the word and use it in a sentence. Then make a game of the word each week where both parent and child try to use the word as often as they can - who will use it the most?   #11plusmockexamsbirmingham #mockexam #vocab #wordoftheweek #vocabularybuilding #vocabulary #activitiesforchildren #kidsclassessuttoncoldfield #activitiesforkids #vocabularylearning #verbalreasoning #education #kids #school #study #suttoncoldfield #tuition #11plusexam #11plustutor
