Tiny Homies’ Post

There are quite a few great movies that delve into the world of #entrepreneurship, showcasing the highs, lows, and challenges of starting and running a business. With the weekend coming up, I asked for suggestions for the #Top10movies about #Entrepreneurs, here is the List that was compiled for me (not necessarily BY Me): 👨🎓 The Social Network (2010) - This film chronicles the rise of Facebook and the legal battles that ensued between its founders. 💪 The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) -Will Smith stars as a struggling salesman who becomes homeless while trying to build a better future for himself and his son. 📞 Steve Jobs (2015) - The biographical drama follows the life of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, highlighting his innovation and tumultuous relationships. ⚾ Moneyball (2011) - Showcasing the innovative approach of Oakland Athletics' general manager Billy Beane in building a competitive baseball team on a limited budget. 🐕 The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)- The true story of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker who engages in corrupt activities on Wall Street. 😹 Joy (2015) - The story of Joy Mangano, a self-made millionaire who invented the Miracle Mop and became a successful entrepreneur. 🦄 Startup.com (2001) - Documentary following the rise and fall of the internet startup GovWorks.com during the dot-com bubble. 💰 Jerry Maguire (1996) - The entrepreneurial journey as Jerry starts his own sports management agency. 🍔 The Founder (2016) - This biographical drama of Ray Kroc, the businessman who turned McDonald's into a global fast-food empire. 👨🍳 Chef (2014) - Following a chef who starts a food truck business after quitting his job at a prestigious restaurant. These movies offer a variety of perspectives on entrepreneurship, from the tech industry to sports management to the food business, and they provide valuable insights into the entrepreneurial mindset and journey. However, after all of that, there are 2 glaring omissions that I feel are missing from this list: 🦍 We Bought a Zoo (2011) heartwarming family film touching upon themes of risk-taking, resilience, and the challenges of starting something new. Containing elements that resonate with the entrepreneurial spirit, such as taking risks, overcoming challenges, and pursuing a passion project against the odds. 🎪 The Greatest Showman (2017) P.T. Barnum is the legendary showman and founder of the circus that became the famous Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Barnum's story in the film showcases his entrepreneurial spirit, as he takes risks, innovates, and promotes his circus to the public, despite facing criticism and adversity along the way.
