Tipping Point Fund on Impact Investing’s Post

In the 1990s, folks like Nell Minow began to notice that the financial returns of institutional investors depended on the social and environmental systems that support the economy. Since then, there has been much good work done to advance the simple but revolutionary idea that diversified investor returns are largely dictated by macroeconomic trends and the health of systems; as a result, responsible stewardship requires a focus on the impact that company decisions have on the entire economy--company gains that come at systemic expense harm diversified investors and should be rejected.
