When pricing can make or break a business... In the early days of Munch More Store, I kept the product prices low and charged customers exactly what I was paying for shipping (£5.50 via Royal Mail). Immediately, complaints started flooding in - complaints about how expensive the shipping was. It felt like every other message was about the high fees! So, I made a strategic shift. I slightly increased the product prices to include part of the shipping cost. I IMMEDIATELY noticed the difference in reception. Now, no complaints - despite the total cost being the same! This experience has taught me the importance of balancing price perceptions and customer expectations. How do I manage and follow the whole operation? 1-Following all invoices; if the payment is okay, adding the company to our shipping list. 2-Checking all customer tracking and managing stock. 3-A warehouse group chat for following all tracking numbers and packages. 4-Following the business number for advertising: "Who is the company and who is not?" Managing wholesale sales is much more enjoyable than retail.
