Learning and growing at a same pace. For the last 1 year I have been learning and growing about the Web3 space with Litheum. This has shifted a lot of perspective about the future and how the global finance will look like in 10 years and how this technology can accelerate the smoothness in global transactions. We are building the future of web3 space.

How do you feel about DePINs? 🤔 Personally, I’m excited, and I’m not alone. Many think that DePIN could be one of the major trends in Web3 this year, and I think that such sentiment is warranted. The potential is there, especially when you consider the amount of real-world use cases DePINs could enable. Powerful applications like decentralized car-sharing services, mapping software, and decentralized storage. All this and more could be possible by better-leveraging crowdsourcing with the help of Web3. 👉 For Web3 to become mainstream, it needs to demonstrate that it is capable of addressing real-world problems and needs. DePINs are aiming to do just that, and that’s what’s gotten the Web3 space buzzing.

Tomorrow, April 25, 2024, JUST Open Source will be hosting our first Web3 Futures event: "Innovating in Web3: What are Web3's current R&D needs and what obstacles block Web3 evolution?" Register here: https://lu.ma/tl2utvzw Web3 Futures is our thought series exploring the roles academia, institutions, and society play in shaping the future of the decentralized web. We believe the keys to realizing the Web3 promise of self sovereignty and data custody are: 📖 Educating the general population about decentralized tech 🛣 Facilitating nuanced conversations about the pitfalls in the ecosystem 🤓 Supporting research that drives adoption More than just talking about the state of play, we're funding research that with this mission. My friends on the ground sent me this snapshot of Vitalik Buterin’s keynote, and it’s incredible to see how far the #Ethereum ecosystem has come. #Devcon isn’t just a conference, it’s a gathering of the brightest minds shaping the future of #Web3. The innovation happening there is just the beginning, and it’s a powerful reminder that Web3 isn’t just tech, it’s a movement shaping how we’ll connect, create, and transact in the future.

Web3 isn't just about tech - it's about solving real problems for real people! 🎯 This quote from Clayton M. Christensen really resonates when it comes to Web3. Sure, the 'tech' part is interesting, but that's not what'll make it go mainstream. The real challenge for #Web3? Showing everyday people how it makes their lives better. It's not about explaining how the tech works, but what it can do for them.

Web3’s Impact Is Real But It’s Time for the Post Web During a recent Outlier Ventures webinar, Jamie Burke made a profound observation: "The impact of Web3 has been relatively little in terms of everyone’s day-to-day lives. A very small percentage of the population uses dApps regularly, even those working in Web3." This resonated deeply with me. It is a reality I have been vocal about for years. I used to call it Web5, a blend of Web2 and Web3. But now, the concept of the Post Web feels much more fitting. It is about more than evolution. It is about convergence. It leverages Web3 infrastructure as a foundation. It empowers interactions with AI agents, decentralized tools, and hyper-contextual interfaces. It builds scalable, user-driven ecosystems. The Post Web is not just about technology. It is about creating accessible, intent-based digital experiences, removing friction, and maximizing utility for users and AI alike. Today, Post-Web Thesis 2 was released. I highly encourage you to download it. Let me know your thoughts. This is the next chapter of the internet, and we are building it together.
