Chunghwa Telecom and globally renowned telecommunications equipment manufacturer 諾基亞 signed a MOU for 5G Advanced/6G and ESG new technology applications on February 27th at the 2024 Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona, Spain. 2024 marks an important milestone for the evolution of 5G standards with 5G Advanced. Chunghwa Telecom and Nokia will deepen their cooperation in three key areas: "5G Advanced & 6G High-Efficiency New Technologies," introducing Nokia's latest wireless products to provide higher speeds for a wider range of innovative applications; "5G RedCap IoT New Applications," conducting cost-effective mobile IoT innovative application trials; and "Smart Energy ESG," incorporating the latest energy-saving hardware and innovative energy-saving software features (MantaRay SON).
