We were incredibly proud to partner with CNA Insurance and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund to sponsor our 2nd annual Innovation Challenge at our Guidewire Software HQ. Sixteen motivated students from 11 HCBUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) came to San Mateo and ideated on innovative new ideas for cyber security in the insurtech industry. Guided by our stellar Guidewire and CNA coaches, the students gained invaluable skills through networking, panel sessions and brainstorming together for their pitches, as well as advice and support from our CEO, Mike Rosenbaum as they consider a career in insurance and insurtech. We are excited to see what these innovators will achieve in the future! Huge thank you to the coaches for working tirelessly Tom Mant, J. Giles, Alvis Dunlap Jr, Jeffrey Moran, Michelle D. Turner, Lior Rafalovitz, Sylvester Bracey, and Josh Collier, FCAS our leaders Vincent and Tina for the lessons learned and leaning into AI, and our panelists, speakers, judges and partners Veronne J. Clark, MPS, Laura Drabik, Christina Lucas, Flynn De Marco, Kyra Peyton, Greg Francis , Cesar Ajuria, Sinéad A. Condon, George Spencer, Betsy Burton-Strunk, Jane Possell and Mike Rosenbaum. This event could not have happened without Raissa Correa, Mark Daniels, and Rishoba Mundrati for her amazing leadership in bringing this event to life! #InsideGuidewire #GuidewireGivesBack #Innovation https://bit.ly/4fHsolc
