Lovely chat at Reward last week with Anna Jaycocks and team discussing women in tech! A question came up around advice for the next generation of female leaders I thought i’d share some points: 👭 1 - Learn from other women! We are already doing so many great things. Have a mentor or even just a chat over a coffee to gain insights and perspective. It’s always nice hearing stories you can’t read in books or watch on socials. 🏆 2 - Champion yourself! Talk about your accomplishments in the workplace (and in life) because if you don’t no one else will know. There is an amazing initiative #IAmRemarkable#IAmRemarkable which I suggest checking out to help not just women but all under-represented groups learn how to articulate their achievements. 👁️ 3 - Own your vision. Be proud of what you’ve accomplished and also what you haven’t accomplished yet. Have an opinion, have a vision and go for it! Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t do something. Wishing all you current and future female leaders a blissful week! #WomenInTech #LeadershipLessons #WomenSupportingWomen #Marketing
