I'm thinking ahead to judging pitches this fall. First, for the INNOVIT - Italian Innovation and Culture Hub Shark tank on September 4 with my dear friend Sandra Miller, and then for the Startup World Cup Semi-Finals on October 2 (for which I'm an advisor) with the ever delightful Bill Reichert. For all you founders out there, here are 3 questions I never want to have to ask again at any pitch session: 1. Nice problem statement, but what is your product?? 2. No such thing as "no competition," so why do your customers choose you? 3. Good start, but how do you scale? Describe how you go to market and acquire new customers.
