Why aren’t your kids and their friends over at your house? Does it seem they land at another friend's place more often? I’m talking, about Ravens game days, pizza nights, and even Friday night TV binge-watching. There’s likely nothing wrong with your house. But if there was 1 thing missing from converting your kids, and their friends, what would that be? A bigger family room? Larger kitchen? Extra bedroom? These are correctable with an update or an upgrade. It seems like these kids grow 10 times faster than you and I did. Are you against missing out on important years for the sake of staying in the same place? Or could a few updates where you are now, change the picture of those memories? Our QSP method helps you create the plan https://tr.ee/6zfGg7eIdv Whose house do you want your kids and their friends to remember the most?

The Cleaning Chronicles: A Comedy of Errors Ever notice how cleaning your home is like starring in your own sitcom? Here’s a peek into the hilarious episodes: - The "Just One More Thing" Syndrome: You start by tackling the dishes, then find yourself organizing the entire kitchen, rearranging the pantry, and suddenly it's a full-blown home makeover. - The Missing Sock Mystery: Where do they go? They vanish into the cleaning void, only to reappear months later... probably in a parallel universe. - The Vacuum Tango: Ever tried vacuuming around furniture? It’s a dance routine of awkward twists and turns. Bonus points if you accidentally knock over a lamp. - The Cleaning Product Collection: How many bottles of cleaning stuff do you have? It’s like a science experiment of potions—each one promising to solve all your cleaning woes. Cleaning may be a chore, but at least it provides plenty of comedic moments! Keep laughing and keep cleaning—because let’s face it, that’s where the fun is. What’s your funniest cleaning mishap? There's a lot of discussion about the future of Hollywood and theaters. Here's a "modest proposal." Inflation is biting the middle class now, resulting in having to make choices between "wants" and "needs." Families need to eat, buy Nikes for the kids and save for college. They want to go out on the weekend but are challenged by theater pricing. The chart below from NetCredit (March 2024) shows that if you want to find a movie for under $10/person, you have to move to Wyoming. Otherwise, it's a $20+ to $30+ evening for a couple. (For $5/month you can get a streamer with ads with unlimited movies.) Add that to higher restaurant prices due to the Covid pandemic and an average hourly rate for a babysitter running from $23.61 for one child and $26.57 for two kids, and you're talking about more than $100 for a date night. So, how about cutting ticket prices to increase the the number of butts in seats? Or maybe charge less for rom-coms and more for superheroes? Your thoughts?

Of course, this holiday lends itself to some difficult conversations, when young children observe costumes, advertisements, and television previews that may be beyond their emotional readiness. Some are just downright yucky. These books will help your child navigate this tricky season. https://lnkd.in/gZKadXwE

Tonight is the night for Pickerington Trick or Treat from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. 🎃Little superheroes and cartoon characters will soon be out for trick or treat fun. Let's keep our kids safe. 🎃Drivers — PLEASE use extra caution & SLOW down when driving tonight. 🎃Give trick-or-treaters a flashlight and add reflective tape to their costumes and bags. 🎃Make a plan with your family. Know where your kids are. Walk with young children door-to-door. 🎃Only visit homes that have a porch light on. Accept treats at the door and never go inside. 🎃Walk on sidewalks, not in the street. Look both ways before crossing the street. 🎃 A grown-up should check all goodies before eating. Make sure to remove loose candy, open packages and remove any choking hazards. You can help keep Trick or Treaters safe this year - 💡Light the area well so young visitors can see. 💡Sweep leaves from your sidewalks and steps.
