With the holiday season upon us, I’ve been reminded just how much packaging is used this time of year. At Lenovo, I’m proud to say we’re doing our part to change that. For me, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword – it’s a commitment to a better future. I’ve been hands-on with the team, auditing every project and looking for ways to reduce plastic. From bamboo and sugarcane fibers to self-locking boxes, the team have eliminated plastic wherever we can. Since FY 2023/24, every ThinkPad (except the E Series) and select smartphones will come with plastic-free primary packaging. That’s 548 metric tons of plastic we've cut from our packaging footprint. We’re also incorporating ocean-bound plastic, renewable bamboo, and FSC-certified materials to make our packaging even more sustainable. It’s not just eco-friendly – it’s sleek, lightweight, and tough enough to keep your device safe. This holiday season, I’m excited to be giving back to the planet, too. 🎁🌍 Learn more at https://bit.ly/3D0U9a1

3wVery exciting! The more leaders like you move in front, the easier it is for us smaller folks to find plastics free packaging options.
