The #BuildwithAI Hackathon 2024 has wrapped up, marking an inspiring 4-day global event from December 6-9! 🌍 Participants from across the globe—students, professionals, and AI enthusiasts gathered to innovate and solve real-world challenges. I had the privilege of serving as a mentor, guiding teams through this high-energy, transformative experience. Competition Categories: Generative AI: Redefining creativity through AI-powered content. AI Agents: Crafting autonomous systems that execute tasks seamlessly. Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): Harnessing knowledge and generative AI to create smarter, context-aware solutions. The dedication, creativity, and technical excellence shown by every participant were truly remarkable. Here's a snapshot of the outstanding winners: 🏆 Overall Champions: Tanya Birman & Louis Janssens, for their innovative AI polling system, bridging opinion gathering with actionable insights. ✍️ Best Article (#GenAIChallenge): Alexander Salazar amazed the judges with his thought-provoking piece on automation’s impact on ethics, human potential, and society’s future. A few more Awards are yet to be completed today. Today we start our first internal m2hycon GmbH hackathon! During the following three days we will have the opportunity to work on one topic with the whole team, exchange ideas, learn and have fun together! This is special for us as an AI consultancy because we usually work in small teams on different topics for different clients.
