DRS: It's like buying the drink, but borrowing the container 💡👇 A deposit return scheme (DRS) makes recycling simple and rewarding. When you buy a drink, a small deposit is added to the price. Return the empty container, and you get that deposit back. ♻️ The goal? Less litter, more recycling, and a stronger circular economy where valuable materials are kept in the loop. By giving containers a financial value, DRS not only encourages people to recycle but also shows that materials have real value as resources. Want to know how unredeemed deposits are handled? How retailers are involved? Or how DRS works together with curbside recycling? We’ve got answers in our FAQ 👉 https://lnkd.in/dx9KrEDW #Recycling #CircularEconomy #DepositReturnScheme

DRS is one of humanity's great inventions, and I hope it can be extended to other containers as soon as possible, not just for beverage
