Where is the uniqueness in the luxury market? 🤔 The other day, Christopher-Jacques Morency provided an analysis in response to a post by Fabio Becheri about how a few photographers sign most of the campaigns for many luxury companies and how this has caused everything to look the same. Different brands with the same marketing strategies and the same product variety. From my experience in the accessories area, you can visit various luxury stores and ask about their SLG offerings. They will all have the same categories, each with their logo, but in the same format. This is just one example of why product strategies today need to be differentiated and aligned with the brand's values. A great example is Rick Owens. With a very particular aesthetic and a differentiated universe, he has achieved both public and critical success.
