2 AEs on my team just did their annual quota in June 😮 In 2024 this is some feat. To say I’m proud of them is an understatement ❤️ What did I observe in their behaviours and tactics that helped them crush quota only 5 months into our FY? 📆 - Process: Know our sales process inside out but are not rigidly faithful to it. They understand when to be agile and when to slow it down based on the deal 💰 - Buyer Focus: always challenging themselves to make the evaluation process as seamless as possible for the customer 🚲 - Leverage Leadership: these AEs see leadership as a tool to deploy on deals. They understand where they need help and where they can get value. This is key 🔑 That’s 2 out of 8 AEs as quota crushers this FY. 6 more to go. 🎉

An interesting combination in this quote from Colleen Francis today. Certainly transparency (we might call it openness) is sales processes does build trust and this builds certainty. The challenge with linking trust to acceleration is that trust increases conversion but not necessarily speed (in the shorter term) as there are many factors in play as to when something happens rather than whether it happens, which is strongly linked to trust. As #businessleaders we are searching for trusted advisors in many support positions as it removes a lot of stress. For #salesleaders we are seeking both trust and acceleration in order to build a solid forecast and the ability to deliver quality opportunities into the organisation. We also know that transparency for the organisation in sales cadence, process and stages is something that strengthens engagement across all teams. Today let's look at each deal element and see how we can build a further levels of trust in every element of our deal and then set ourselves up to measure each of the impacts that are made. #collenfrancis #salesleadership #positivemindset
