Cracking #enterprise sales is really tough... and very few companies do it successfully. Thanks to a lot of hard work, and many, many lessons along the way, we've figured out how to do it. We now have over 25+ enterprise clients - some of the biggest #brands in the drinks industry, and operate in over 50+ countries. So.. how did we get that first one? Over a decade ago Craig was asked by an existing client to work on a concept… he spent months interviewing the team, scoping out a product, drawing up plans… only for it to be rejected in favor of another company. Not one to rest on his laurels, Craig jumped on a train and pitched it to Pernod Ricard.. more specifically Mark Makin... Mark took a punt on us. He said yes, and can we have it next week? 😂 Pernod is now one of our best customers, we are live with hyble across 12 markets, and enjoy an amazing relationship. SalesIntel.io hosted a GTM dinner last night in Chicago featuring 20 amazing senior-level leaders from the B2B space. This was our 16th dinner this year. Another huge success, but why? These dinners are strategic, not drink fests. Every guest must come prepared with insights they want to share with the group. We then moderate the discussion so everyone can get involved. Why do I personally love these? 1) The relationships - I met a dozen leaders from the Chicago area. It’s nice to know people in my industry that live right around the corner from me. 2) Keeping a pulse on our personas - I get to hear what’s top of mind for GTM leaders and can relay that information back to my marketing and sales team. 3) The food - I’m a foodie, yesterdays food was incredible. Huge thanks to Avli in The Park for hosting us! Anyone seeing major success hosting private dinners?

Last week I was lucky enough to be at the Nordic B2B conference, and to hear Jørn Fogh speak about the customer-led success of Stark. He talked about the importance of getting leadership buy-in, and one thing he said really struck a chord with me. Jørn talked about the importance of the leadership team all recognising they're on a journey - going from A to B - and being aligned on what that journey is, agreed on where they're heading. But the most important thing, Jørn said, wasn't to agree on where B was. It was to agree on where A was. I found this really interesting. For most leaders and companies, the focus is often on where we're going. What's the outcome we're heading for? What does the future look like? How do we get there? Of course, that really matters. But what Jørn said was right, too. It's all well and good knowing where you're heading, but it you all think you're starting from different places, how are you ever going to get there? His point was that more time needs to be spent on getting the team to agree where they are now. How do we feel about our current performance? How good are we, objectively? Where are we strong, where could we be stronger? What's currently getting in the way of us achieving what we want to achieve? Unless the leadership team agree on the current state of play, it's going to be impossible to move forward as one. Because whilst one team thinks there's huge changes to be made, another will think everything is fine and can carry on as it is. It was a brilliant conference - thanks again to Anna-Maija Tanninen, Joanna Carr, and Torben Degn for the invite.
