What does it mean to truly show up—for yourself, your team, and your clients? This was the focus of a town hall I had the privilege to facilitate last week in partnership with Impact Coaches Inc. It began with a vision to bring the team together as they adapt to evolving work dynamics and expectations. Together, we saw an opportunity to create a space where the team could reflect on a critical question: How are you showing up? And to explore this from the perspectives of self, team, and client. I was especially inspired by Justin Kutyan's own story and his commitment to fostering deeper connections and defining what’s next for the team—focusing on communication, trust, alignment, and the personal energy needed to move forward. The conversations went far beyond simply needing to return to the office; they were about showing up fully in service to ourselves, each other, and our clients. It was an honor to guide these discussions alongside Sandra Oliver, Marcus Mackay, and Steven Wise, whose insights were invaluable in shaping the dialogue. This experience reaffirmed that when we come together, create a space for dialogue and connection, we open the door to align, create and have meaningful change. Hey there, post-Labor Day pals! 🎉 Let me spill the beans on today's win – it's a juicy one! After a whole month of back-and-forth with a client, we finally got the thumbs-up and a big fat check from the bank! 💰 But let me backtrack a bit and dish out the deets. Imagine us in a marathon of sample swapping and bargaining with this client. They had some doubts about one of our products – it looked a bit too much like another one. 🤔 But hey, we didn't let that rattle us! They put our product through the wringer, testing it like crazy. And guess what? It aced every test! 🏆 Now, let me tell you, the feeling is sweeter than winning a pie-eating contest! 🥧 It's like a big, warm hug of satisfaction, proving the doubters wrong and sealing the deal with a smile. 😄 But this win is more than just a victory dance. It's about showing what our team's made of – guts, creativity, and never giving up. It's about building trust, one sample at a time, and making partnerships that last. 💪 So here's to teamwork, bouncing back, and celebrating the heck out of our successes! Everyone is busy at the moment. 100 days until 2025 and all that… Heads down in the next milestone… During a post-Glasto trip to Cornwall, Mr McD had me running through Padstow to get to the next beauty spot. True story. What on earth were we doing?! I burst out laughing and he resolved to chill out. This is your (and my) reminder to SLOW DOWN. Sometimes we have more energy and want to capitalise on it but sometimes you should take a moment to celebrate where you are. I start each of our Monday Team Meetings with last week’s successes. If I hadn’t done it this week, I would have missed the opportunity to celebrate: ⭐️A team member passing probation ⭐️A much enjoyed client meeting ⭐️Getting on top of client reviews ⭐️Successfully working through tricky onboarding issues ⭐️Acheiving a project milestone Are you missing something to celebrate by running through Padstow?
