There are only 2 days left and this is important. I've had differing opinions on the importance of awards in Brewing. How many times have you seen some seriously suspect winners of beer awards? Then you start to follow the money, and all credibility of the awards go out the window. But these awards are different. Truly independent, voted for by truly impartial and independent judges motivated entirely by awarding the correct brewery with the correct award. Here are some of the key categories 🏭 Brewery of The Year 👩🏭👨🏭 Brewer (and Young Brewer) of The Year 🌱 Sustainability Champion of The Year Voting takes less than 2 minutes and it's your chance to make people's years. Let's celebrate the industry's best. https://lnkd.in/efibUTc4

I have always believed that #growth comes from stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing new #challenges. That's why I'm thrilled to announce that I've successfully passed the auditor exam for #Equalitas! For those unfamiliar, Equalitas is a pioneering sustainability standard in the Italian (and not only) #wine industry. This certification isn't just about wine – it's a gateway to understanding holistic #sustainability practices that balance environmental #stewardship, social #responsibility, and economic #viability. 1. Validate information and communication 2. Enhance credibility 3. Ensure up-to-date skills in eco-friendly production methods 4. Open doors to new opportunities in sustainable viticulture As someone passionate about expanding my knowledge across diverse industries, this certification represents more than just a professional milestone. It's a testament to my commitment to broadening my horizons and keeping my work filled with new stimuli as a strong believer in the power of cross-pollination, interdisciplinary learning, and the exchange of experiences. These interactions help us achieve milestones we never thought possible. I'd love to hear from you: What unusual business combinations have you encountered? Do you have any cross-pollination stories that led to unexpected innovations? Share your experiences with the community :-) #SustainableWinemaking #Certification #Equiplanet #WineIndustry #Sustainability

Our first Manufacturing and Ops Excellence community event this financial year was a success! Big thanks to Jordy M., Tom Lahogue and the rest of the organising team. It was great to see a number of fantastic project shares, this time focusing on our Food and Beverage clients. The cost-of-living crisis and softer economy are a huge challenge the Food & Beverage sector. Pricing to prop up profitability is less and less viable with inflation still well above pre-COVID levels and supermarkets under public scrutiny to reign in price increases. This means more pressure on Operations and Supply Chain leaders to find ways to cut costs while increasing productivity. This is where our Manufacturing and Ops Excellence practice really shines. We have by far the best capability in this space in ANZ, with 50+ consultants and hundreds of past engagements across dairy, meat, petfood, alcohol, bread, frozen pies, ready meals, confectionary and everything else in between. It's great to be part of a growing team and contribute not only to our clients' bottom line but also to slow down the cost-of-living crisis.
