Ryan Eakes at Typhoon Farma, Inc. in Montrose #Colorado is once again setting the standard for both aesthetic and ethics in excellence in #Hemp production for cannabinoids. What’s even better? He’s showing the world what a truly Certified #NOP #Organic field can/should look like—clear blue skies, lush green fields, and BIG smiles! The difference between merely claiming “organic” and actually being ORGANIC is SIGNIFICANT. It’s not just about using organic practices or chemicals; it’s about the hard work, meticulous paper trails, full transparency, and certifications that verify the integrity of your crops. Real organic certification demands accountability and proof, not just a label. #hempindustry #cannabinoids #CBD #hempfarming #OrganicHempf
So proud of our team and the quality we manage to achieve year in and year out. For those of you who’ve done this before, you know it’s not easy. A lot of exhaustion, sweat, and tears go into each season. But we are committed to getting better every year, no matter how small the adjustment. We like to say that planting is the “playoffs” and harvest is the “Super Bowl”. The first quarter whistle is about to blow.

When faced with adversity, some of us tend to scatter and run away from the approaching danger, like cattle. Others, like buffalo, will assemble and run headfirst into the approaching storm. If you find yourself feeling like you're more like cattle, running away from the storm alone, it's time to join a herd. At our organization, we embrace the #BuffaloCulture. We are a herd (peer advisory group) where each member is heard, and where our questions get answered and our answers get questioned. Leading can be lonely, but it certainly doesn't have to be. Connect with a peer advisory group and discover what it looks like to be a part of a community that charges headfirst into the storms together.

Reflecting on the Harvest Thanksgiving is around the corner, and as the season of gratitude approaches, it feels like the perfect time to reflect on the “harvest” we’ve gathered this year. At Dalton Roofing, our harvest isn’t crops it’s the relationships we’ve nurtured, the trust we’ve built, and the projects we’ve brought to life with the help of our partners, clients, and team. Every deal closed, roof completed, roof repaired and handshake shared is a seed planted and grown into something meaningful. Just like in farming, success in business takes: Preparation Success in any field starts with preparation. Whether you’re planning a project, launching a new idea, or even hosting Thanksgiving dinner, laying the groundwork is key. It’s about understanding your goals, gathering the right tools and resources, and setting yourself up for success. Just like planting seeds in good soil, a little planning upfront leads to bigger rewards down the line. Patience Great things take time. In any endeavor, you can’t rush results. Whether you’re building relationships, developing a skill, or tackling a long-term goal, patience allows you to stay steady, adapt to challenges, and trust the process. Growth happens when you give it room to unfold. Community None of us achieves success alone. It’s the people we surround ourselves with whether they’re teammates, mentors, clients, or supporters who make our efforts worthwhile. Collaboration, shared goals, and mutual support create something greater than what any of us could accomplish solo. As we approach Thanksgiving, we’re reminded of how much we have to be thankful for. To everyone who’s been part of our journey this year: thank you for helping us grow and thrive. #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #DaltonRoofing #Teamwork #Reflection

This episode, my guest is bee expert Kevin Hancock. Kevin has invented a honeybee nest box that’s the only self-regulating honey harvesting system in the world, meaning the bees will dictate how much honey you can take dependent on the environment that year. It’s a way of hosting rather than keeping bees and is an intriguing system. https://zurl.co/T4eb
