Non-mathematician gone wild Terrence Howard thinks he is smarter than everyone else. He does not grasp the idea of multiplicative Identity element (one (1)). He argues: since Two (2) 2s adding to four (4) and 4/2=2, this requires two (2) 1s adding to 2 requires 2/1=1. Logic by pattern does not apply to numbers with special properties. A multiplication table (granted, assuming a Complete Ordered Field assumed for grade school teaching) depicts the sum of a number with itself another number of times: 1(1)=1.
