Having the right mentors will make you more successful This is a no-brainer And yet, too often we try to do it alone To reinvent the wheel... There is no “we” in personal development. Personal development is personal. Only you know the pain of staying the same. Even if you are going through the same situation as family, colleagues, or fellow citizen, you feel stagnation individually and personally. So don’t wait for others to join you before you make a decision to do something about it, whatever it is to you. And even if you start with others, don’t stop because they have fallen away. Press forward. Get out. Move up. Perhaps others will be inspired and embark on their own personal journeys of change and transformation. Perhaps they won’t. But at least you will never look yourself, your children, and ultimately God in the eye and say, ‘I didn’t go far because no one else would take the journey with me.’ There is no “we” in personal development, only you. Many of us start with a vision and a passion for making a difference, but without proper guidance and mentorship, it can be daunting to navigate the complexities of running an organization. The Changemakers Project aims to change that. By providing tailored capacity-building support, mentorship, and access to resources, we're empowering young founders to overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential. From leadership development to partnership building, this program equips participants with the skills and knowledge they need to drive sustainable change in their communities. We are delighted to kick off the 2024-25 Revive Leader Mentorship Academy! 🌟 It was wonderful to host the welcome party for this year’s SOAR mentees, where we discussed the program and shared experiences from previous years.
