trüfrü and movie nights—name a better duo. We’ll wait.
Last night, we hosted our second event of the year: a cozy movie night! Partnering with a wellness-focused community brand, we welcomed 50 community members and influencers for a screening of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without an endless supply of trüfrü.
The verdict? A total hit! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how trüfrü is the ultimate companion for any movie night, whether out at the cinema or at home. 🍓🎬🍿

What is true virality? 25 million impressions.
This is what Penn Weinberger was taught in the year he spent working for Jerry Media, the advertising company built around a portfolio of multi-million-follower Instagram accounts in the 2010s.
He's since started an agency called Bad Behavior, where he helps brands crack social media, including by developing wildly popular, creator-driven short-form video shows.
Had Penn on Creator Spotlight this week to chat:
💫 Differences between celebrities, creators, and influencers
📱Building viral, highly monetizable short-form video shows
💵 Pricing contracts with brands and creators
📈 How the creator market has changed in the last five years
I'll drop the podcast and newsletter in the comments. Check it out!

What kind of bodyguards do you need as an influencer?
A bodyguard that carries you to a vehicle and exposes you to the crowd even more?
Or a bodyguard (team) that plans ahead and ensures you deal with the crowd on your terms?
Fans, followers and large crowds can be overwhelming, that’s why you need calm and professional protection agents that take charge when you can’t see a clear path.

I understand that "Buddy Guard" is used to refer to a specific kind of untrained EP Agent, but when you're escorting your client out of the venue as if it were a second date, that's what I call a "Buddy Guard."
There are numerous ways to handle this situation, but this team opted for the worst one: walking out while carrying him into an excited and potentially hostile crowd.
Some EP schools continue to teach these traditional arrivals and departures, including "Walking the Ropes." However, many teams overlook the safer alternatives like rear or parking garage entrances. If your team leader believes this risky approach is the best option for departure, it's time to find a new team leader.

Just out of curiosity, turns out OnlyFans nowadays is not only a black hole of draining the wallets of poor subscribers, but there is an entire army of guys behind the female influencers who impersonate them and chat with subscribers 24/7, flooding their DMs with content. The entire business is simply a machine where money from the wallets of subscribers, who think they communicate with real influencers, moving to the wallets of the first. The business is so successful that they can afford living in luxury apartments. There are topics on Reddit exposing this business.

This advice is even more relevant for Black Creators, Influencers and Writers because we are so much fewer in number.
ENGAGE with your followers and develop real connections by offering VALUE in the content you post.
It’s also important to SUPPORT Black Creators on social media if you are consuming our content because that tangible support helps us not only pay our bills but gives us the ability to continue to do this work.

BBC are sitting on a goldmine for a social media ecosystem.
Traitors is probably the biggest show on TV. Everyone has their own theories and something to say about it. As it's a gameshow competition, they could learn from the interaction gathered from shows such as Love Island, The Great British Bake Off and even a Love Is Blind.
I'd like to see:
▶️ More influencers being sponsored to review episodes and offer their theories and perspectives.
▶️ Traitors Uncloaked doing more public interaction content and seeing what the people think.
▶️ Encouraging organisations to get involved with sweepstakes for winners and next people to leave.
All of these things and more would be great content on social for The Traitors show and for organisations that want to capitalise on its hype.
I predict there's loads of content planned by brands for the final. I know there won't be official outright sponsorships as it's the BBC, but brands could definitely get creative with this one.
