My mother, Mdm. Sim Joo Joo, and her dance partner, Mr. Chong Sheng Zhi, taught me the basics and instilled in me the importance of being prepared. Our meticulous preparation led us to win first place in all beginners' categories at the Kuantan Ballroom Open Championships in Malaysia. Our pioneers understood the value of preparedness. Dr. Goh Keng Swee, the architect of Singapore's economy, emphasized meticulous planning and preparation. His foresight and detailed economic plans transformed Singapore into a global financial hub. In our professional lives, being prepared is crucial. Whether it’s a big presentation or daily tasks, thorough preparation can make a significant difference. The gathering brought together a dynamic mix of startups, SMEs, Japanese corporates, and governmental organisations, fostering an environment of co-creation and innovation.   We are inspired by the technology sharing from Japanese corporates and the success story of how Siang May Pte Ltd, a synthetic fiber specialist, leveraged IPI’s co-creation programme to co-create differentiated products and tap into the expertise of innovation advisors to bring their products to market. This clearly demonstrated how co-creation can significantly accelerate time-to-market, opening doors to innovative product development across various industries.
