Time to travel together? In our worlds there is always a cup or mug somewhere - on a desk, in the dishwasher or growing something hidden away ! Imagine, if these were your travelling mugs during the school day. Exeat 1 has a feeling of no care but Exeat 2 is brimming over with care everytime you put it down. In our boarding worlds, it is human to have different levels of care for others, systems and futures. So reflect on your week and the care thermometers people experienced with you ? And, what is the mug you are carrying creating in your community ? What is one action you can take today to raise the care factor for just one person? But . in this moment what is the temperature of your mug ...the self care mug ? Remember to look after you. You awesome boarding practitioner. 😀

PSA for my parents and caregivers out there 📣 Give yourself a break! I mean it. Give yourself grace and accept that things won’t always be perfect. I know it’s hard. Gosh, I haven’t been able to do this for myself many times throughout my life. And admittedly, I still get frustrated when things don’t go perfectly. I replay in my mind moments with Elizabeth — did I make the right decisions? Just beating myself up constantly. And trust me, you can’t win doing that! Especially with a new school year underway, it’s important to pour back into yourself too. A little self-care goes a long way! 🥰 Try these small activities for an instant refresh: → Sleep → Cook a nourishing meal → Exercise → Pray or Meditate → Go for a walk with your dog → Read for 20 minutes → Do a puzzle → Just sit alone in the bathroom and breathe Whatever works for you to get out of your head, do it. Because this is survival mode folks, it really is. ♥️ 🦋 The Circle of Care community doors are always open for you: https://lnkd.in/dabqvv_2 What is your favorite self-care practice?
