WSJ journal just posted that CMS will recalculate the 2025 Stars for all plans as a result of the SCAN and Elevance court rulings. Details will be released shortly, CMS has options - mainly a hold harmless after either (a) recalculation of the Star ratings or (b) relative to prior years' scores. In any scenario, CMS will strive to find a solution that is least disruptive to the 2025 bid review cycle, which started June 3rd and is conducted on a very tight timeline. In order for 2025 open enrollment to start on time and beneficiaries to have the required information on plan premium and benefits, bids must be finalized by the end of August or early September. Plans should be prepared to adjust their bids to account for increases to their benchmarks or rebate percentages. #wsj #Avalere

What you need to know about SBIRs & STTR topics - many are rigged for a specific company to win. We know, we know. It’s not *supposed* to happen. And yet every cycle there are SBIRs stacked with requirements that only one company can properly meet. Here’s how to spot a topic that is a waste of your time to go after ⤵️ 📣 It’s full of specific (and niche!) jargon 📝 There are vague and not public technical requirements 🕵♀️ It’s really similar to previously awarded work ☠️ The Phase I feasibility requirements for a D2P2 are unrealistic Link in comments for more on our framework for answering the question: To bid, or not to bid?
