The Art of the 500-Day Finish at Black Hawk Farms American Wagyu! At Black Hawk Farms, we believe in the power of patience and dedication when it comes to crafting the perfect American Wagyu beef. Our 500-day finish on a carefully curated blend of grain and grasses, grown right here on our farm, is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship. While a 500-day finish may seem like a lengthy process, we firmly believe that greatness cannot be rushed. Each day spent on our sustainable diet of grain and grasses contributes to the rich marbling, unparalleled tenderness, and exquisite flavor profile that define our American Wagyu beef. Quality is our top priority, and we spare no expense in ensuring that every cut meets our exacting standards. That's why we never compromise on our principles - no hormones, no antibiotics, just pure, natural goodness in every bite. But our dedication to excellence extends beyond the pasture. Our solar-powered grain facility exemplifies our commitment to sustainability, harnessing the sun's energy to power our operations and minimize our environmental impact. And let's not forget about the foundation of our success - the Tajima Wagyu genetics that form the backbone of our herd. Renowned for their exceptional marbling and flavor, these prized genetics are the secret ingredient that sets Black Hawk Farms American Wagyu apart from the rest. So, why do we go to such great lengths? Because we believe that every bite of Black Hawk Farms American Wagyu should be an experience worth savoring. Join us in celebrating the art of slow finishing, where patience, quality, and passion converge to create something truly extraordinary. #Wagyu #SlowFinish #SustainableFarming #BlackHawkFarms #Beef #Agriculture #Sustainability #AmericanWagyu #F1

Seoul Dairy Cooperative visited Bounds Hay Co. Yesterday. Fescue straw is the most popular straw product. In this picture we are inspecting 1st cutting Christmas Valley Alfalfa Hay. Quality products that have green color, free of weeds, dirt and other containments are number one. The second most important part of exporting is packing quality of wrap. Third consistency. You the supplier must have consistent supply year round with no issues. If you give excuses they will move on. This is where your business transitions from being a start up to a company. When I started I dreamed of selling to Seoul Dairy but I couldn’t. My old hay press made horrible packaging. I couldn’t get good container weight. I didn’t have capital to secure enough product. Especially fescue straw. I needed to invest in people to get the job done. Invest in more trucks to truck containers up to Tacoma Wa. As Portland fell apart I needed to adapt. Yesterday I had 20 minutes notice. I needed to show the buyers, board members and staff my factory. It was successful. Lots of hard work on years but the most important part was I learned from others. I had mentors and coaches that had done it. I asked questions. I listened. Executed. I invested in myself and my business. You can do the same. My vision board had this picture. It happened. You can do the same. 👊🏻 #boundshay #dairy #cattle #korea #forage #hay #alfalfa #export #seouldairy #agriculture #farming #tenfourcoaching

ALMADS Receiving and Shipping When a truck delivers product from a growers’ field, it passes over the truck scale. At this point a barcoded ticket is created in ALMADS Grower Receiving Module to identify the grower and details of the delivery. This ticket is designed to follow the load through the Hulling and Shelling process for traceability. Once the driver drops the load, it returns to the truck scale to obtain the tare (empty) weight of the truck thus determining the net weight of the delivered almonds. During the busiest periods of harvest, many trucks can be lined up ready to deliver over the scale, with ALMADS hastening and streamlining the process. Once product is ready to be shipped out using ALMADS Shipping Module, trucks are weighed for the processed almonds, updating growers live throughout the whole process. Regional IT & the ALMADS program have been certified by the State of California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) Division of Measurement Standards to supply legal weight certificates. Many of our competitors do not have this certification. . . . Find out more https://lnkd.in/gESGHjhV . . #livedatacapture #almads #certifiedweightcertificates #californiaalmonds #USAalmondharvest
