WIPRO, one of India's largest IT services companies, is facing challenges in revenue momentum, margin erosion, attrition of senior management talent, and winning large deals. However, the company has taken a step in the right direction by appointing a new CEO from within the company. This move allows the incoming CEO to avoid getting bogged down in the company's culture, which as Peter Drucker said, "eats strategy for breakfast." Pallia, who replaced Thierry Delaporte as CEO last week, drew parallels between the qualities of a hiker and those of an effective leader. #Wipro's CEO #Delaporte Steps Down, #SrinivasPallia Appointed as CEO & MD Wipro, one of India's prominent IT services firms, has announced the appointment of #Srinivas Pallia as its new CEO and Managing Director, replacing Thierry Delaporte, who resigned from his position. The sudden move comes just days before the company is set to announce its Q4 and full-year earnings. The reasons behind Delaporte's resignation remain unclear, although sources suggest that Wipro has been underperforming its peers with weak results and guidance. The company has experienced frequent leadership changes in recent years, with Delaporte's exit being the latest in a series of top-level departures.  Srinivas Pallia, a Wipro veteran with over three decades of experience, has taken over the role. He most recently served as the CEO for the 'Americas 1' region, which is Wipro's biggest and fastest-growing strategic market.
