This cold northeast weather has me thinking about the Airline category lately, and so is the sports & entertainment industry, as it was the 16th most-viewed category within the SponsorUnited platform this past week. Here's a breakdown of spending within the category. Globally, there were 232 unique airline brands buying sponsorships in the last 12 months. These types of one-off competitions continue to build momentum, and given what golf has been through, and the divide that still exists, I'm sure this will rate very, very well. It seems mad in golf that the only thing that unites golf are the traditions and the fortunate legacy frameworks of the majors, and the disruptive approaches of streamers and platforms like TNT Sports and Netflix. https://lnkd.in/ecu7N2jm
