By adopting a trauma-informed approach, physicians can shift their focus from asking "What is wrong with you?" to "What has happened to you?" This perspective allows for a deeper understanding of a child's experiences and helps tailor interventions accordingly. Learn more, https://ow.ly/UFSI50TnPeE.

Episode 11 , Tracheostomy, indications and care! Montgomery or T-tube!! usually used for tracheal stenosis or wht is called Subglottic tracheal benign stenosis (STBS).. Problems with T tube: 1- The main problem with this tube is Emergency stridor!!! it has an acute angle so the lower verticle limb cannot be cleaned by suction ...so granulations can easily close the airway.... 2- Difficult in care and removal and reinsertion : needs special training to be easy to introduced.... 3- can irritate the vocal folds and cause granulations and trauma (which is very disturbing if no close observation of the level of the tube) I dont prefer this tube ...other modificaitons were introduced to this tube which are much better.. Later on i will put some cases showing these complications
