The benefit of transactional experience in litigation and vice versa, is the ability to hone in on the impact of poorly drafted legal documents. In this case, the landlord's lease was so poorly drafted that it left up for interpretation the requirements to sublease the property. With such vagueness, the landlord just made up requirements and then failed to respond to the sublease request - you can't do that! Or so I argued, and the Judge agreed with me :) #benchtrial

Amer Kayyal It’s interesting to see the birds and animals have started using their mind. However do all people apply mind in solving day to day problems? Sadly no. The only solution to indecision, overthinking, not applying mind to resolve problems logically; these can be remedied by practising following: 1. Self awareness: it’s your understanding self, your likes and dislikes, your habits and your values. And this is a continuous process. 2. Mindfulness: It’s your ability to keep your mind and control. You may have feelings but do not allow them to become your emotions. Mindful this always keeps you on the right track. It keeps on reminding you that for every thing you must apply your mind.
