TREBUCHET’s Post

It all started with a shared passion for trebuchet memes!   Alexandre Pernot Lopes, Guillaume Duquesne and Vincent Brunet-Dupont, three intrepid minds, crossed paths during their studies at the D.E.S.S in game design at the University of Montreal.   Bound by their values, their vision for video games and their unconventional passion for trebuchet memes, they decided to create TREBUCHET in 2017.   All three had the ambition of creating new original #VR experiences. The first game that was conceptualized? ➡ Prison Boss VR: a crafting and trading game that turns your VR space into a jail cell!   As avid enthusiasts of management and strategy games, they noticed a scarcity of VR games of this type that offered engaging game loops as they desired. Their values have been anchored from the beginning in a kind of duality between a deep involvement in the work, coupled with humor. They don't take themselves too seriously and enjoy maintaining a light atmosphere in the studio. They've also come to recognize and share a profound respect for the time contributed by team members, which has inspired them to develop somewhat unorthodox working methods. Every day, it is a real pleasure for the founders to witness that collaboration allows the creation of unique #gaming experiences.   They're always prepared to launch themselves into new #creative frontiers! 🚀
