[https://lnkd.in/e5C-xmSA] Historical context indicates this is not a new phenomenon, as any military is subject to balance available resources including budgets, personnel, and equipment while satisfying statutory and strategic guidance. As the USMC continues to pursue FD2030, it is worth reflecting on previous force changes the USMC has pursued, almost four decades ago. "Personnel reduced at battalion level. Firepower up 25%."
