Our Deputy General Manager shared exciting updates on our delivery commitments and achievements. We successfully delivered 233 MT out of our targeted 285 MT, bringing smiles to everyone from management to executives and laborers. 😊 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 𝟭. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: • We shared detailed updates and our strategic vision, ensuring everyone is aligned and motivated for the future. 📈 𝟮. A brilliant day down in London yesterday for The Caterer People Summit. A few highlights for me: 👉 'No more sh*t jobs.' Gone are the days when the hospitality industry can make excuses for offering sh*t jobs with poor working conditions, says Chantal Wilson. It's time to shed the crap and move forward. 👉 Think of your EVP like a subscription service - another cracker from Chantal. Every day you need your employees to subscribe and see value in the subscription, otherwise they'll unsubscribe. 👉 'We don't have a recruitment problem in hospitality, we have a PR problem,' says Kris Hall MIH. I couldn't agree more -that's why having a strong employer brand is so important 👊 👉 When you're trying to figure out why employee turnover is so high, figure out what it is that you don't know. Avoid assumptions and ask questions. 👉 Perks are worthless if they're offered in a toxic environment that doesn't support employees' essential needs (think Maslow), a great point by Jamie Campbell. And a couple of low points: 👎 I had to leave before they announced the Top 30 Best Places to Work in Hospitality, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled for that. 👎 I left my Airpod case on the train down, the silly sausage that I am, so sending all my prayers to the lost property gods at East Midlands Railway that they've got it. #Hospitality #HospitalityCulture #ThePeopleSummit #HospitalityRecruitment #EmployerBrand #TheCaterer #TheCateys
