After more than 24 hours on the move, I’ve landed in Jakarta, and my “bedroom” is somewhat unconventional – the third row of car seats has become my temporary abode 🚗💤. But when you travel extensively, you uncover unexpected abilities! 🌍 Better navigation than GPS? Check. 🧭 🗣 Bargaining like Radim Pařík? Daily routine. 🤝 📚 Mastering the local language? Surprisingly easy. 🗣️ But my real superpower? I always find a place to sleep and a way to eat well, no matter where I am. 🛌🍲 This adventure reminds me that flexibility, adaptability, and a bit of creativity can take us far – both literally and metaphorically. Travel teaches us to be more resilient, smarter, and open to whatever life throws our way. With its modern and comfortable facilities, Transjakarta is not only a means of transportation, but also creates a more enjoyable travel experience for its users. With developments in various sectors in recent times, the journey experienced by users has become more practical, efficient and safe. In addition, integration with other modes of transportation makes it easier for users to switch from one mode to another easily and efficiently. We created a visualization that depicts population numbers as well as night light intensity as indicators of economic activity in the surrounding area within 1 km of the stop point. I’m in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Similar to Indonesia 🇮🇩, stepping into this country immediately gives me a sense of the energy characteristic of a population bonus economy, where the average age is in the late 20s and the working population continues to grow. The influence of past British rule is evident in the nation’s aesthetic sensibility for architecture and design, and English proficiency is widespread. The national character leans toward being calm and non-confrontational, with relatively safe living conditions. Temperatures hover in the high 20s (Celsius) year-round, making it personally very comfortable for me. The average household income in Kuala Lumpur is approximately 5 million yen (about USD 34,000). This figure might feel like a distant memory to many Japanese people. However, wages in the service industry average around 100,000 yen (about USD 700) per month, meaning that labor-intensive sectors such as (1) dining, (2) transportation (Grab), and (3) luxury hotels remain attractively priced even for yen-weakened Japan (perhaps this is the last chance to benefit from such favorable rates). Real estate prices are also relatively affordable and show growth potential. If one had invested in property here about 15 years ago, the value could have increased by over 2.5 times. Compared to countries like the Philippines or Cambodia, Malaysia enforces stricter regulations on foreign investments, requiring a minimum self-investment of 10 million yen (about USD 68,000). Yet, property investment in areas like Kuala Lumpur and the upcoming administrative hub, Putrajaya, still appears highly promising. #entreprenuerlifestyle
